Tennis Betting Strategy: Point
There are two main types of strategies: statistical and combined. With a selective approach, tennis rates can provide 15 - 17% of the profit from the amount supplied. And tennis matches are held more than in other competitions. Hence, the choice of rates is much larger. Tennis betting is very popular nowadays.
According to one of the methods, you should keep a record of the statistics of the main parameters, and also make up a theoretical forecast of the points scored for the first set. But this strategy is not suitable for all tennis players.
When This Strategy Does Not Work
The tennis player is not psychologically a fighter in life, not tuned to the fight for every point.
- Injury
- Fatigue after several matches in a row combined with a long flight.
- There is no mood for victory for various reasons, including: preparation for a more important competition, family troubles, etc.
If you want to bet on any participant, exclude such negative circumstances for the victory. Next you need to make a prediction of points based on past statistics. Then translate the forecast of points into your odds. (In the game, the score is up to 4 points: 15, 30, 40, game, if at the end of the game the score is equal - 40:40, then the winner of the game will have an advantage in 2 points)
Betting Examples
Suppose that Rafael Nadal in the first set with David Ferrer should receive 22 points, and David Ferrer - 19 points. Points deduce from the average indicators, calculated for similar matches by comparing the pairs of participants. Do not forget to consider the look of the cover.
- The probability of Ferrer's victory will be: 19/42 = 46.3
- So the coefficient on Nadal will be: 1 / 0.537 = 1.86, and on Ferrer 1 / 0.463 = 2.16.
- These calculations are given for an example only.
- The probability of winning Nadal will be: 22 / (22 + 19) = 53.7%.
If the betting odds on Ferrer will be 2.45, which is higher than our 2.16 coefficient, we put a coefficient on this outcome of the match. Of course, in this situation, Nadal can become the winner, but in the long term this strategy will give a permanent win.
